Kohlrabi is a biennial vegetable, and is a low, stout cultivar of cabbage. Kohlrabi can be eaten raw as well as cooked. Edible preparations are made with both the stem and the leaves.
We had a great time growing Kohlrabi and they turned out lovely. We found they taste a lot like a cross between a cabbage and a mild radish. We will definately continue to grow these in the future.
